Licensed and practicing attorney since October 1996 (nearly 30 years). Currently in private practice with focus on Auto/Truck Crash Injury, Wrongful Death and Criminal Defense/DWI cases.

- 1996 – 2007 Private practice focusing on Personal Injury and Criminal Defense with record of favorable verdicts and settlements of behalf of clients
- 2007 – 2018 (12 years) Elected Prosecuting Attorney for Wright County. 2019 – 2020 Acting Prosecuting Attorney Texas County
- Tried numerous civil and criminal jury trials
- Handled almost every type of case imaginable and presented cases all over Southern Missouri: from traffic tickets and small claims to murder and multi-state civil litigation
- Argued cases before The Missouri Court of Appeals and United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and handled appeals in the United States Court of Appeals 8th Circuit
Education
- Graduated from Mountain Grove, Missouri High School in 1988.
- Graduated Missouri State University Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a double minor in Philosophy and Communications
- Graduated University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law juris doctor degree in 1996.
Jason is married to the love of his life, Robin, and has four children: Sam, Jimmy, Gus, and Jozey. Robin is the owner/operator of a local business in Mountain Grove, Paw Spa, pet grooming salon and is the office manager and bookkeeper for MacPherson Law Center LLC.
When not in the courtroom or practicing law, Jason is an avid outdoorsman spending the majority of his free time raising and training labrador retrievers for shed antler competitions or hunting and fishing.
Upon earning his law degree, Jason returned to hometown, Mountain Grove, fall of 1996. He turned down jobs in metropolitan areas to return to Mountain Grove, to serve the people of his hometown and surrounding area.
